PRO10’s Police Ops Net 138 Arrest on Wanted Persons During Sacleo
PBGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, Regional Director, PRO10 commended the operating units for the successful conduct of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) on July 20-22, 2022.
The operation implemented a total of four Search Warrants for R.A. 9165 which resulted in the arrest of four personalities and confiscation of more or less 32 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of PhP241,638.00.
Four other Search Warrants were also implemented on the campaign against loose firearms which also resulted in the arrest of four personalities and a seizure of two firearms.
Meanwhile, PRO10 scored big in the campaign against wanted persons in which a total of 138 were arrested during the three-day operation.
Overall, a total of 148 SACLEO operations were conducted with positive results.
RD ACORDA stated that PRO10 will continue to strengthen its police operations especially in the campaign against illegal drugs and wanted persons.
“I really appreciate the efforts of our men and women of PRO10 who are vigorously doing their best in so far as law enforcement and public safety are concerned. Let us maintain this momentum while we also build trust and strengthen our relationship with the community.” He said.
PRO10 urges the public to continuously support the government in its campaign against all forms of criminality in order to attain a secure and peaceful Northern Mindanao. ###

𝟏𝟎𝟗 𝐂ops Graduated in 15-Day Enhanced Health and Fitness Program
Police Regional Office 10 conducted the closing ceremony of Batches 10 & 11 of this PRO’s 15-Day Enhanced Health and Fitness Program at RHQ Covered Court, Camp Alagar, Cagayan de Oro City on July 21, 2022.
A total of 109 PNP personnel graduated in the said program under batches 10 and 11, aiming to gain the standard body mass index of the police.
PCOL DANILDO B TUMANDA, Chief of the Regional Staff, reminded the participants that this program is made to help them achieve their standard or acceptable BMI.
“I’m glad that these batches lost weight twice compared to the previous batches. It’s really just a matter of self-discipline, and having discipline in your body—gradually, you will achieve the normal or acceptable body mass index that you wanted.” He said.
PBGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, Regional Director, PRO10 also said that all police officers must adhere to maintain the standard weight or acceptable BMI.
“Everyone should be responsible with their health and body. The tendency if our police are obese, it’s easy for them to get sick. Ginagawa natin itong programa not because for their individual gain but for their families as well.”
“We have a coach for this program who volunteered to teach our personnel about nutrition. Kaya nga po this program is not just all about exercise but it also teaches our personnel how to be healthy conscious. With regard of transferring personnel if an acceptable BMI will not be met, we don’t do that. May tamang proseso sa placement or transfer of personnel po.”
RD ACORDA also stated that this program was designed to ensure that the men and women of PRO10 are fit enough to progress in their career.
Further, the biggest losers for the two batches were PMSg Leoniso Pasa (Batch 10) from the National Support Unit who garnered 13.73 kgs loss and PCpl Vincent Lumayag (Batch 11) from Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office who garnered 12.73 kgs loss. ###

NorMin Top Cop Presides 7th Command Conference
Police Regional Office 10- PBGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, Regional Director, PRO10 presided the 7th Command Conference addressing the actions taken on the guidance of SILG and OIC, PNP at Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City on July 20, 2022.
Provincial and City Directors discussed their measure on the implementation of the campaign against loose firearms, refrain from engaging in any fund-raising activity or the “No Take Policy”, intensification in the campaign of anti-illegal drugs, and other operational accomplishments.
RD ACORDA expressed his thanks to the officers for all the good accomplishments that this PRO has carried out.
“Continue doing what is good for the organization. It’s because of your effort that PRO10 is recognized for having a lot of good accomplishments. Focus in coordinating with your respective Local Government Unit to ensure proper implementation of the guidelines of the OIC, PNP.” He said.
He also directed the officers on the ground to make an effort in so far as protecting the PNP organization against those individuals who throw negative remarks.
“Do not allow yourselves to be used by some people who have bad agenda. Just continue your good work and be the epitome of a public servant who’s proficient and committed in serving people.” He added. ###
