Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar - PRO 10 holds the 2nd CDM competition at Pelaez Sports Center, Cagayan de Oro City earlier today.
The 8 CDM Contingents composed of Cagayan de Oro CPO, Iligan CPO, Bukidnon PPO, Misamis Oriental PPO, Misamis Occidental PPO, Lanao del Norte PPO, Camiguin PPO and Regional Mobile Force Battalion engaged in a friendly competition to assess the degree and level of adequacy of preparation, effectiveness, implementing maximum tolerance and swift response in addressing various civil disturbance situation in terms of support, negotiation, arrest, monitoring, SWAT, medical and fire protection. The competing teams were rated by the CDM competition organizers from PRO Directorial Staff, NAPOLCOM and CHR during their showdown inspection, presentation of different formations and scenario solving.

Considering that Region 10 has a high based on terrorism threat level we continue to undertake preemptive measures against terrorist attack and other criminalities. “We have augmented additional Mobile Forces along our tactical borders to ensure security measures and continuously safeguard holiday convergence areas manned either by uniformed police or covert security personnel to prevent untoward incidents.” BGEN Pacleb added.
New Year revelry in NorMin was relatively peaceful with the lowest incident of firecracker-related injuries recorded regionwide. Record shows only two (2) confirmed firecracker-related injury and two (2) other individuals with different injuries whose causes are still being investigated.
