PRO10 Nets 161 Arrests in One-Day SACLEO
A total of 161 personalities were arrested in a one-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) on Friday, March 31, 2023, regionwide.
The operation implemented a total of 17 Search Warrants with positive result which comprised seven Search Warrants for R.A. 9165 that resulted in the seizure of more or less 56 grams of shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price of PhP386,410.00, and 10 Search Warrants for R.A. 10591 that resulted in the confiscation of eight various firearms.
PRO10 also yielded accomplishments in the campaign against illegal drugs thru a buy-bust operation. This PRO implemented 24 buy-bust operations with positive results on R.A 9165 that resulted in the seizure of more or less 31 grams of shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price of PhP214,614.80.
Meanwhile, a total of 117 personalities were arrested in the implementation of the warrant of arrest which comprised 32 Most Wanted Persons and 85 Other Wanted Persons.
PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director, lauded all troops for the successful conduct of the operation.
“This accomplishment is the result of our unyielding efforts and relentless campaign against all forms of criminality. I commend everyone for a job well done and let us continue to be more aggressive on our campaigns so that we can achieve a progressive, peaceful, and drug-free Northern Mindanao,” he said. ###

PRO10 Launches Battle Against Drugs (BAD) with Faith-Based Leaders
In consonance with the drug campaign of the PNP to reduce the drug menace nationwide, Police Regional Office 10 launched on Monday the Battle Against Drugs (BAD) that is duly organized by Faith-based Civic Non-Government Organization, which coincided with the Flag Raising and Awarding Ceremony at the RHQ Grandstand, Camp Alagar, Cagayan de Oro City.
The activity was graced by DR. DANILO I. BORNALES, Founder/President, Battle Against Drugs, as Guest of Honor and Speaker, together with Faith-based volunteers across the region.
The activity was highlighted by the presentation of awards to the distinguished PNP personnel for their commendable acts rendered in the performance of their duty.
The Battle Against Drugs (BAD) aims to highlight the harmful effects of illegal drugs in the nation through conducting training, symposiums, and seminars in public and private schools down to the grassroots level of the community.
DR. BORNALES himself officiated the Pledge of Commitment with the men and women of PRO10 to uphold its vision and mission, and to promote its Godly Advocacy.
Meanwhile, PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director, PRO10 extended his message of support to this program by underscoring the PRO10s scrupulous efforts in battling illegal drugs.
“PRO10 confiscated a total of PhP43.8 million worth of illegal drugs in which 1,406 or 75.23% of the affected barangays was declared as drug-free barangay.” PBGEN COOP said.
DR. BORNALES emphasized in his message that the mortal enemy of the country is the drug menace of which many people have been killed because of the use of illegal drugs.
“This is now the time to join together and fight against this drug menace and we can do it by the grace of God. With the help of God, we can put an end to this [drug] menace of our country. Let us do our best to make our country a drug-free nation so our next generation will enjoy the blessing of what we have started today.” He said.
Further, faith-based volunteers conducted a Battle Against Drugs Leadership Orientation Seminar to further provide them a broad understanding about the said program. ###

Acuman Criminal Group Surrender to PNP PRO 10
A leader and two other members of the Acuman Criminal Group involved in a series of illegal activities in Bukidnon surrendered to the authorities on March 13, 2023.
PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director, PRO10 presented the three surrenderees during the Press Conference held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.
Acuman Criminal Group is involved in illegal activities such as robbery, cattle rustling, highway robbery, and extortion schemes in Bukidnon specifically in Talakag and its adjacent municipalities.
The surrenderees were identified as Dario M. Acuman, leader; Erwin M. Acuman, a.k.a Kapitan; and Ryan T. Acuman, a.k.a Opaw. They are all family related and have existing multiple warrants of arrest for the crimes of Murder, Frustrated Murder, Attempted Murder, and Illegal Possession of High-Powered Firearms and Ammunition. They also surrendered one M16 riffle, one M14 riffle, and one cal. 45 and ammunition.
PBGEN COOP commended the operating units and credited this accomplishment to the community for tipping-off information that was conducted through a series of operations.
“Our efforts have now resulted positively as several members of the criminal gang have surrendered to the folds of law. I commend the PRO10 personnel for doing this job excellently and rest assured that we will be proactive in our intel-driven operation with the active support of the community to attain a progressive place to live, work and invest.” He said. ###
