The Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) hosted the fellowship of region 10-based Bless Our Cops (BOC) Volunteers and members of My Brothers’ and Sisters’ Keepers (MBSK) at the Covered Court, Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City on October 11, 2023.
The activity was graced by PMGEN BERNARD M BANAC, The Director, Directorate for Information and Communications Technology Management (TDICTM).
Around 20 police officers and 67 volunteer life coaches participated the fellowship to promote a spirit of togetherness and shared values.
The BOC volunteers and MBSK have been unwavering allies of PRO10 in their joint mission to bolster a positive outlook on life among police officers.
They spread the teachings of faith and support to create a stronger sense of dedication among PNP personnel to serve and protect the people they are entrusted with through the conduct of Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM).
In his message, PMGEN BANAC said that the BOC Movements and My Brothers and Sisters Keepers have formed a bond that transcends duty.
“The BOC and MBSK is a partnership between the faith-based community coming together to bless and pray for the police, and the uniformed personnel coming together to support each other to keep in line with the PNP’s core values of Maka Diyos, Maka Bayan, Maka Tao, at Makakalikasan,” he said.
“Your prayers give us strength to continue on with the transformation and the reforms not only in PRO10 but the entire Philippine National Police,” he added. ###

PRO10 Celebrates 122nd Police Service Anniversary
The Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) celebrated its 122nd Police Service Anniversary with the theme: Nagkakaisang Pulisya at Pamayanan, Tungo sa Mapayapa at Maunlad na Bansa today, September 1, 2023 at the RHQ Grandstand, Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.
The event was graced by the PNP CHIEF PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
Highlights of the celebration were the turned over of the Zumba Proceeds to Leupapo, Inc. and presentation of awards to the distinguished personnel, units, and stakeholders for their commendable acts and outstanding contributions to the betterment of their communities and the enhancement of police service.

The celebration extended its gratitude to valued stakeholders, including All Terrain Trekkers and Cross-Country Klub (ATTACK CDO), Sec. Maria Belen S. Acosta, CESE, Chairperson, MinDA, and Dr. Adrian M. Tamayo, Chief Public Relation, MinDA.
The event also acknowledged the winners of the Photography Contest, whose captivating images captured this event’s theme. The winners were:

PGen Acorda expressed his pride in the achievements of PRO10 and its personnel especially on the operational front. He emphasized the importance of unity and efforts between the police force and the community in making the streets safer and the communities more secure.
“Let us remember that this success is not the result of the work of a few, but the collective efforts of a united force,” he said.
He also enjoined all PNP personnel to continuously uphold the values of integrity, empathy, and professionalism in all that they do.
“Treat every citizen with respect, and dignity, for by doing so, you not only maintain law and order but also earn the trust and confidence of the very people we serve,” he added. ###

The Police Regional Office 10 (PRO-10) declared Northern Mindanao as generally peaceful during the second State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. on July 24, 2023.
PRO10 strengthened its security operations, tightened its border control checkpoints, and maximized the deployment of PNP personnel to places of convergence such as public plazas, freedom parks, and thoroughfares. It held a peace rally concert in Cagayan de Oro City to encourage the public to watch the SONA in a mobile LED screen.
