The 1003rd Maneuvering Company of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB 10), together with 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of Bukidnon Provincial Police Office, successfully recovered firearm and subversive documents during an Internal Security Operation under OPLAN COMMIDUS in Brgy. Mabuhay, San Fernando, Bukidnon on January 25, 2024.
The operation led to the discovery of arms cache and other war materials through the joint efforts of the police and a surrenderee/informant who served as a guide during the operation.
Items recovered during the operation include a one-unit semi-automatic Sub-machine Gun, one unit steel magazine containing seven 9mm live ammunitions, and subversive documents.
PBGEN RICARDO G LAYUG JR., Regional Director, PRO10, commended the operating units and the informant for their successful operation. He highlighted the significance of the accomplishment in the fight against insurgency in the region.
“Our anti-terrorism campaign in the region remains our top priority. I would like to commend the operating units, along with the informant, for a job well done,” he said.
He also emphasizd that the accomplishment signifies the downfall of CTG in Northern Mindanao.
“This serves as a testament to the dedication and collaborative effort of the police force and the community. Ang pagrekober nitong armas, magazine, mga bala at dokumento ay nagpapahiwatig lamang sa patuloy na paghina ng puwersya, impluwensya at lakas ng grupong ito. Kahit sa simpleng pag tipon2x ay hindi na nila magawa, sa kadahilanang ang komunidad na mismo ang nagsusumbong sa kapulisan,” he added.
Further, PRO10 asks the community to continue supporting the government by promptly informing the authorities of any illegal activities related to the local communist group. ###
