Police Regional Office 10 already laid out all over the region its full alert status as the security preparations for the holy week reached full swing.
PBGEN TIMOTEO GASCON PACLEB, RD PRO 10 has ordered the deployment of more policemen in terminals, airports, seaports, highways, malls, resorts, churches and other holiday convergence areas to beef up police presence and ensure the tranquil observance of Lent. Considering that Region 10 has a high based on terrorism threat level we continue to undertake preemptive measures against terrorist attack and other criminalities. “We have augmented additional Mobile Forces along our tactical borders to ensure security measures and continuously safeguard holiday convergence areas manned either by uniformed police or covert security personnel to prevent untoward incidents.” BGEN Pacleb added.
NORMIN WELCOMES 2019 WITH LOWEST RECORD OF FIRECRACKER- RELATED INJURY; NO STRAY BULLET INCIDENT RECORD
New Year revelry in NorMin was relatively peaceful with the lowest incident of firecracker-related injuries recorded regionwide. Record shows only two (2) confirmed firecracker-related injury and two (2) other individuals with different injuries whose causes are still being investigated.

NORMIN PNP ON HIGHEST ALERT
Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar – Police regional director PCSupt Timoteo Pacleb declared full alert in the entire region and ordered for strong security measures after the deadly twin blasts in the capital town of Jolo, Sulu.
“We are doing our best to keep the entire region safety,” Normin regional director PCSupt Pacleb said. “While the PNP works round the clock to keep our communities safe, we call on the public to be ever vigilant,” Pacleb said. “Let us keep calm but watchful of our surroundings. The PNP Regional Office 10 is closely working with the AFP and other stakeholders to secure our cities and provinces, he added.
“We strongly condemn the dastardly attack that victimized innocent lives. While we commiserate with the victims we will not stop in bringing justice for them. We will continue moving forward to attain our dream for a peaceful Mindanao.” PCSupt Pacleb said. ###
