A Total of 61 Heavy Equipments Burned by NPA
Police Regional Office 10 has recorded 61 burning incident torching down trucks, backhoes and pieces of equipment as well as agricultural products attributed to the communist New People’s Army in some provinces in Northern Mindanao since January 2010 to present.
PCSUPT JAVIER reveals that aside from torching/burning incident, there were also 13 robbery/extortion to ordinary people and business establishments including the ransacked in DASIA Security Agency and 10 abduction incidents of uniformed personnel and civilians, these includes the abduction of PO2 Natividad last February 9, 2017.

On May 23, 2017 at about 9:00 A.M., a meeting with the Public Safety Forces Commanders was held at Police Regional Office 10, RHQ Conference Room, Camp Lt. Vicente Alagar, Lapasan Cagayan de Oro City. It was presided by PCSUPT JOSE L GENTILES, Acting Director, DIPO-EM and was attended by Command Group, ROPD, City/Provincial Company Commanders and ABC, RPSB 10.

On February 24, 2017, at about 8:35 AM, an urgent call received by personnel of City Intelligence Branch, Iligan City Police Office from Stephanie Adiong, one of the victims regarding the Carjacking Incident. Immediately personnel of Iligan City Police Office led by PSSUPT LEONY ROY GA, Acting City Director and Chief, CIB conducted hot pursuit operation and alarmed all PNP units including the PNP- SAF Coy Commander; Police Station 4, ICPO, Patrol Unit, ICPO and 4th Mechanized Battalion against the armed suspects in Tagoloan, Lanao del Norte.

On February 26, 2017 a Youtube video was uploaded by a user ‘ang kalihukan’ with a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olYjYcEMsK4 of PO2 Gerome Anthony Natividad, assigned at Kalilangan MPS, Bukidnon who was abducted by the New People’s Army (NPAs) last February 9, 2017 appealing to President Rodrigo Roa Dutertre for a chance to be freed from rebels.
