Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) has deployed 1,152 police personnel across Northern Mindanao to ensure peace and order during the filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) for the National and Local Elections (NLE) 2025 from October 1 to 8, 2024.

The deployment is part of PRO10's intensified security measures to provide a safe and orderly environment as political aspirants submit their candidacies.

A total of 384 personnel have been deployed as part of the Police Assistance Desks (PADs), stationed strategically at the different areas where COC filings are taking place. In addition, 768 Quick Reaction Team (QRT) personnel will be on standby across the region. They are prepared to respond swiftly to any incidents or security concerns that may arise during the COC filing period.

PBGEN JAYSEN C DE GUZMAN, Acting Regional Director of PRO10, emphasized the importance of maintaining a secure atmosphere during the election process.

“The filing of COC marks the beginning of the election season, and it is crucial that we maintain peace and order to protect the integrity of this democratic process.

Our personnel are fully prepared to ensure that the public and all candidates can exercise their rights safely,” he said.
PRO10 remains committed to upholding security measures throughout the region, working closely with local government units, election authorities, and other law enforcement agencies to safeguard the 2025 Midterm Elections. ###
