PMGEN BERNARD M BANAC, the Director of the Directorate for Information and Communications Technology Management (TDICTM), paid a command visit to Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) and led an ICT conference, aligning the region's efforts with the CPNP's 5-Focused Agenda at the Multi-purpose Hall, Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City on October 11, 2023.

PMGEN BANAC highlighted the importance of harnessing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for law enforcement and community safety.

During the conference, PCOL MICHAEL M PAREJA, Chief Regional Information and Communication Technology Management Division (RICTMD 10) presented and discussed the current activities, plans, and projects of PRO10 related to ICT development in compliance with the CPNP's 5-Focused Agenda.

An open forum/discussion was also held to further deliberate on strategies for ICT development within PRO10.

PMGEN BANAC emphasized the importance of optimizing ICT resources to ensure a more effective and responsive police force.

“Technology is now part of our performance in our mandate, and we are using technologies to keep up with the evolving needs of a modern society. The PNP remains committed to upholding its mission through innovative ICT initiatives that align with the CPNP's 5-Focused Agenda,” he said. ###
