It can be recalled that the PNP also launched last May 2021 the Barangayanihan Help and Food Bank which was conceptualized in response to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. However, today the PNP formally reinvigorates this program primarily to provide humanitarian assistance to the less fortunate kababayans who are affected by calamity or disaster.

During the event, PMaj Mohammadali A Amerol, IMAM, led the ceremonial blessings of donated items and logistical support to PNP.
The support of the stakeholders for this program was evident as PSMBFI, AFPSLAI, PSSLAI, and PNB symbolized their commitment by turning over cheques to PRO10.

Additionally, PCACCG Inc., generously donated cash that will also significantly bolster the efforts of the PNP in reaching out to the communities in need.
PRO10 Regional Director PBGen Lawrence B Coop emphasized the significance of the program in fostering a strong collaboration among the PNP, the stakeholders, NGOs, and the community.

“This program serves as a platform for collaboration between the PNP and various stakeholders. Our unified aim is to ensure that assistance and support reach the most vulnerable members of our society during times of crisis,” he said.

Further, PBGen Coop said that PRO10 remains steadfast in its commitment to serving and protecting the community, exemplifying the true spirit of serbisyong nagkakaisa sa bawat Pilipino. ###
