The event was highlighted by the distribution and pinning of KASIMBAYANAN Pin Buttons to PNP personnel and other guests which symbolized that PNP and community have a vital role in contributing peace and order, progress and holistic transformation of the society.

Messages of Support were also given by the invited KASIMBAYANAN partners, namely: Most Rev. Jose A. Cabantan D.D, Archbishop of Cagayan de Oro City; Pastor Abraham A. Candia, Pioneer and Head Pastor Covenant, Baptist Church and Missions; Hon. Yevgeny Vicente B. Emano, Congressmen 2nd District Misamis Oriental, represented by Mr. Steven M. Cubillo; and Sheikh Hadji Imam Macalantong, Chairman Islamic Propagation, United Ulama of Region 10.

In his message, Dir. Agabe said that the very core of the Revitalized PNP KASIMBAYANAN Program is the cooperation of the general public to attain sustainable peace and lasting development.

“As we signified our pledge of commitment a while ago, the Department of the Interior and Local Government also pledges its continuous support to this initiative and rest assured that you can count on us. Kami kauban ninyo kanunay.” He said.

“This launching is just the beginning, and our pledge of commitment signifies our intentions to stay together, and we will be working together to ensure attainment of our goals and targets… towards a peaceful Northern Mindanao.” He further added.

PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director said that the KASIMBAYANAN, in line with the Chief, PNP’s program which is the MKK=K, is deemed to be an effective program to putting an end to the predicaments of the society.

“Makakaasa po kayo na ang kapulisan sa Police Regional Office 10 ay buong tapat naming gagampanan ang aming tungkulin at taos-puso po naming pangangalagaan ang inyong tiwala na ibinigay sa amin.” He said.

“Altogether let us move in unison and stand firmly in our beliefs that life is beautiful but nothing else is sweeter than seeing the various sectors working hand in hand towards the common goal of achieving a safe place to live, work and do business.” He added. ###
