Police Regional Office 10- PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director, administered the donning of ranks and oath taking of four Police Major who are promoted to next higher rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel held at the New Grandstand, RHQ, Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City on Friday, September 23, 2022.

The promotees were: PLTCOL ALWIN T BACLAO, LDN PPO; PLTCOL MARIANO WENRECTO O DELA PEÑA, JR, COCPO; PLTCOL ABDUL ALIM T SUMANDAR, COCPO; AND PLTCOL EVAN N VIÑAS, COCPO.

PBGEN COOP said during his message that the new rank insignia donned in their uniforms implies a bigger obligation to serve in the police service.

“Witnessing all of you achieve this momentous event made me evoke clearly that you have a responsibility to serve even more. It also tells us that there’s a time for everything and today is meant for all of you.” He said.

Further, PBGEN COOP took the opportunity to congratulate their families who have stayed and extended love and support through all stages of their career.

“Lagi lang natin tatandaan na habang tumataas ang ating ranggo, kaakibat din nito ang mataas na responsibilidad. Gawin lang natin ang nararapat at sana’y magsilbing inspirasyon ito sa lahat na magtrabaho ng maayos.
