The event was highlighted by the presentation of awards to police units and individuals in recognition of their distinct accomplishments in providing quality police service to the public. Part of the celebration was the Signing of Memorandum of Agreement and Deed of Donation between the PNP and LGU of Gingoog City for the establishment of police community precinct with provision for forward operation base of 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC).

In line with the PNP’s Kaligkasan Project, the Chief PNP planted his tree along with other PNP star ranks at Camp Alagar as they advocate environment protection and preservation to feel the bounties and serenity of Mother Earth. Moreover, PRO 10 has launched the Region-wide Repeater Multi-site via Internet Protocol (IP) Radio connectivity in which multiple repeater sites can be linked together over a standard IP network, allowing users in different locations to talk over wide areas with ease.

Chief PNP Eleazar was proud for this event focusing mainly on the aspiration to promote integrity and cleanliness in all aspects of police service to uplift the image of the PNP organization and gain the trust and confidence of the people and in combatting criminality, terrorism, and health pandemic.

“The true spirit of police service, hindi makikita yan sa Crame, not even here in Regional Offices nor in Provincial Offices, ang totoong diwa ng Police service is being celebrated every day in our police stations. Kung saan pumupunta ang mga tao.” C, PNP Eleazar said. He also acknowledged the awardees and the stakeholders especially the staff of PRO 10 for the relentless support in the call of duty as public servants. ###
