The operation was jointly conducted by personnel of Police Station 7 Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office and RDEU-10 at 9:00PM at Upper Zone 4, Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City that resulted in the arrest of the following suspects: Manuel Dagooc y Guttirez, 37 yrs old, a resident of Igpit, Opol, Misamis Oriental and Jinnifer Quilab y Inesim, 35 yrs old, a resident of Julio Pacana St., Brgy 25, Cagayan de Oro City was considered a High-Valued Target (HVT) upon arrest.
Bought from the suspects was one (1) rectangular heat-sealed transparent sachet containing granules of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.3 grams with street value of 1,000.00 pesos. Further, recovered, seized and confiscated from the possession and control of Dagooc the recorded buy-bust money of 1,000.00 pesos bill with SN: NZ547700 and to Quilab was one (1) large sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less fifty (50) grams recovered from Jinnifer Quilab y Inesim with an estimated street value of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 350,000.00) which made him tagged as HVT due the huge amount of drugs seized from him.
The operatives engaged the suspects for more than two weeks after Dagooc contacted the confidential informant of RDEU.
The two suspects were facing drugs charges but released from jail facility due to acquittal of their cases. Dagooc was released last September 23, 2019 while Quilab was released sometime in January 2019.
Police operatives are now conducting interview to the suspects for the possible follow up operations and to identify the connection and suppliers of the said suspects.
PBGen Rafael P Santiago Jr. will continuously send a warning to drugs personalities to stop their drugs activities since the police force of the region will never stop the war thru running after the drug personalities until the region will be declared drug free.
