The office of RIDMD, PRO 10 conducted a 2-Day Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) Seminar-Workshop on April 21-22, 2016 at the Regional Training Center, 6th Division, Patag, this city.

The opening ceremony was on April 21, 2016 at 8:00 AM which started with an invocation followed by the welcome remarks by PCI BENIGNO G BALISI JR, Training Coordinator. The presentation of participants and declaration of course opening was given by PCINSP SHERWIN M LAPIS, Deputy Chief, RPHRDD and PSUPT MARILOU V TAMBIS, Deputy Chief, RIDMD respectively. PSUPT MARILOU V TAMBIS then gave his inspirational message.

The seminar-workshop formally started with an overview given by PO2 Jaime M Unday, Jr., Fingerprint Examiner – Regional Crime Laboratory Office 10. The participants were 45 PNCOs who were designated as investigators and e-rouge in-charge in their respective police stations and one NUP with salary Grade Six (SG – 6).

On April 22, 2016 at 4:00 PM, the seminar-workshop was concluded with an invocation followed by welcome remarks of PCI BENIGNO G BALISI JR. The presentation of candidates for graduation and the declaration of graduation were done by PCINSP SHERWIN M LAPIS and PSUPT MARILOU V TAMBIS respectively. Distribution certificates of completion and Awards for Best ten Taken “Ten print”. The Deputy Chief, RIDMD, PSUPT MARILOU V TAMBIS then gave his inspirational message.

The said activity ended with fruitful result.
