Police Regional Office 10 – PBGEN ROLANDO B ANDUYAN, Regional Director together with the Command Group, Chief of Regional Staffs and his wife Mrs. Cherryl Pink Anduyan led the Hatod Serbisyo as part of Women’s Month celebration at Golden Home for Elderly Person in Maitum, Upper Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City on March 19, 2021 in the morning. It was managed by Ms Katherine D Callanta, Center Head of CSWD- Residential Care for the Elderly.

PRO 10 provide basic services for the elders especially the giving of four wheelchairs, 17 canes, slippers, foodpacks, sanitary hygiene’s, blankets and pillows, food parcel: rice, noodles and canned goods, face shield / facemask, and other basic needs. Likewise, the Regional Health Service 10 provides vitamins and medical check-up to our recipients.
PBGEN ROLANDO B ANDUYAN, said that this simple act of kindness would make the elders feel that their police cares for them and are giving their best to bring excellent services during this time of pandemic. We are providing those medical services and assistive devices (wheelchair/canes) that will enable them to be physically active and help them compensate even with a limited activity.

The Hatod Serbisyo aimed to give equal attention to humanitarian mission that through reaching out to our elders who are living in the residential care is the best weapon of winning the hearts and mind of the people to support the program of the government. It strengthens the PNP effort in generating stronger partnership and bringing the police closer to the community.

Nanay Elizabeth Villa, one of the recipients expressed her gratitude to PBGEN ANDUYAN and Police Regional Office 10, for the foodpacks, dry goods, slippers, wheelchairs and canes they receive which is essential for their daily activity.

Likewise, we urged everyone to continue to follow the minimum health standard set by the government. That these simple rules such as wearing of facemasks, face shield, and observe social distancing can save lives as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect our nation.
