PBGen Rolando B Anduyan, Regional Director informs the public regarding the Oath Taking Ceremony of the Newly Appointed Patrolman/Patrolwoman of Police Regional Office 10 on July 01, 2020.
A total of 250 PNP recruits take their oath administered by the Deputy Regional Director for Administration PBGen Ferdinand A Sifuentes, at 9:00 A.M. in the Parade Ground of Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City. They will beef up the manpower complement of PRO 10 to further strengthen PNP capabilities to lead the fight against criminality, corruption, terrorism and illegal drugs to ensure public safety and security.
The new police officers have taken their oath of office as new members of the PNP with the rank of Patrolman/Patrolwoman in temporary status. They will receive a basic salary of Php 29,688.00 each, aside from allowances and other non-cash benefits, similar to the regular police officer holding the same rank. They will be turned-over to the Regional Training Center 10 for the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course wherein 213 are patrolmen and 37 are patrolwomen which form part of PRO 10 Regular Recruitment Program quota for CY 2020 out from 1,401 who applied from the beginning.

PBGen Rolando B Anduyan, Regional Director gives special recognition to the parents, love ones and relatives who are not physically witness this momentous event due to the threat of COVID-19 for their full support and guidance to the young men and women in pursuing their calling to serve and protect the people of Northern Mindanao and the entire nation.
The trainees will undergo academic training, Internal Security Operations and defense tactics for six months. Upon completing their 6-month training in Public Safety Basic Recruit Course, they will further undergo 6-month Field Training Program in the different provincial/city police offices in PRO 10 as part of their community immersion which will qualify them for permanency.###
