Police Regional Office 10 under the leadership of PCSUPT TIMOTEO G PACLEB, Regional Director revealed that guidelines were already established in accordance with “IMPLAN LIGTAS BALIK ESKWELA 2018” which will formally open on June 4, 2018.

            PRO 10 in close coordination with DepEd and other national and local government agencies is all geared up in ensuring a secured and peaceful opening of classes on June 4. As expected, thousands of students will troop to schools which may be taken advantage by lawless elements to carry out their nefarious activities such as snatching, swindling, robbery as well as bullying and harassment.

         PCSUPT PACLEB disclosed that maximum number of PNP personnel will be deployed in the different schools to established Police Assistance Desk (PADs), provide public safety, police visibility and foot patrol along major routes leading to all learning institutions and within the immediate vicinity of the schools which are most likely to be the chosen target place of criminal elements. 


            Likewise, PRO 10 together with LGUs shall strictly implement the prohibition of overloading of public utility vehicles during the whole school year to ensure the safety of the students. The strict implementation of zoning ordinances prohibiting existence of computer shops, distractive games and recreation within the vicinity of schools.


            PRO 10 cautions the students to be wary of strangers and to refrain from talking to them, avoid bringing large amount of money or from using expensive phones and text while in the streets.
