A Total of 61 Heavy Equipments Burned by NPA

Police Regional Office 10 has recorded 61 burning incident torching down trucks, backhoes and pieces of equipment as well as agricultural products attributed to the communist New People’s Army in some provinces in Northern Mindanao since January 2010 to present.

PCSUPT JAVIER reveals that aside from torching/burning incident, there were also 13 robbery/extortion  to ordinary people and business establishments including the ransacked in DASIA Security Agency  and 10 abduction incidents of uniformed personnel and civilians, these includes the abduction of PO2 Natividad last February 9, 2017. 

PRO 10 is on Full Alert

On May 23, 2017, Police Regional Office 10 under the leadership of PCSUPT AGRIPINO G JAVIER, Regional Director declared full alert status amidst the encounter between the government troops and local terrorist group at Brgy Basak, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur and the declaration of Martial Law in inter-island of Mindanao by President Rodrigo Duterte.

PCSUPT JAVIER reiterates that the police force is on top of the situation. It is intensifying its target hardening intervention in all vital installations and security measures to thwart possible spell-over of the local terrorist in the region.

Field Visit of Acting Director, DIPO-EM in PRO 10 Public Safety Forces

On May 23, 2017 at about 9:00 A.M., a meeting with the Public Safety Forces Commanders was held at Police Regional Office 10, RHQ Conference Room, Camp Lt. Vicente Alagar, Lapasan Cagayan de Oro City. It was presided by PCSUPT JOSE L GENTILES, Acting Director, DIPO-EM and was attended by Command Group, ROPD, City/Provincial Company Commanders and ABC, RPSB 10.

PO2 Natividad Returns to Duty After Being Abducted by the NPA in February

PO2 Anthony Palomar Natividad member of PNP assigned in Kalilangan Municipal Police Station was released by New People’s Army on April 27, 2017 at about 11:20 A.M. at Sosyalon, Dominorog, Talakag, Bukidnon after he was abducted on February 9 this year.

During the released unidentified armed men were sighted at the vicinity and further a short program was initiated prior to the released of the abducted PNP member.
