With only 7 days left before the national and local elections, members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday, May 2, vowed to remain apolitical, taking an oath of non-partisanship during the Monday flag raising.

WILFRED JAY E BALISADO presided the final regional coordinating conference attended by its members: Division Commander, 4th Infantry Division, PA, Officer-in-Charge of PRO-10, DepEd, Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) at Country Village Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City, Friday morning of April 2016. Also in attendance were Provincial Directors and City Directors of PNP including regional staffs of PRO10 and different COMELEC Provincial and City Election Officers.
PCSUPT JOSE LLESIS GENTILES, Officer-In-Charge of Police Regional Office 10 turned over nine patrol jeeps to different chartered and component cities, Thursday morning of April 28, 2016.
Among the recipients are Malaybalay CPS, Valencia CPS, Tangub CPS, Ozamis CPS, Oroquieta CPS, Gingoog CPS, El Salvador CPS, Iligan City Police Office and Cagayan de Oro City Police Office.
On April 24, 2016, the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) will celebrate its 43rd Founding Anniversary. Last April 22, 2016, the NDF has initiated a synchronized protest rallies in Mindanao in the form of “kampuhan” to consolidate all NDF-affiliated organizations throughout the region. It aims to drumbeat recent issues perpetuating the information environment to fuel up the final blow against the government to highlight their anniversary. These groups are courting violent reactions from the security forces by instigating and feeding information to attract security forces as their scheme of deception by confronting them head-on which will surely lead to the expected kind of violence they are laying before the government forces
