A total of 966 Police Commissioned Officers (PCO) and Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCO) was promoted to the next higher rank on a simultaneous mass oath-taking and pinning of ranks last December 8 at Police Regional Office 10, Grandstand Parade Ground, Camp Alagar, Cagayan De Oro City.

         From a total of  966 vacancies at PRO 10.... 89 PCO and 877 PNCO applicants have passed the examination and interviews for the 2nd Level 2014 Regular Promotion Program and were found qualified for promotion effective November 30, 2014.

         The observance of mass promotion is to give honor and recognition to newly-promoted PNP uniformed personnel as well as to uplift the morale of the police force.





Chief, PNP visits PRO 10

One of the highlights of this ceremony is the conferment of Performance Governance System Certificates as initiated and Awarding of Silver Eagle Awards to the deserving City Police Offices and Municipal Police Stations of Police Regional Office 10. PDG ALAN LA MADRID PURISIMA, Chief, PNP was welcomed by PCSUPT ISAGANI FRANCISCO GENABE JR. Regional Director of PRO 10; members of the command group as well as the PCO's, PNCO's and NUP's of the Police Regional Office 10. PCSUPT FERDINANDO SEVILLA, Director, CPSMU and PCSUPT DOMINADOR AQUINO, JR. were also present in the said ceremony.

In support to the leadership plans and programs to our Chief PNP, Police Director General Allan La Madrid Purisima. The Police Regional Office 10 Manifesto signing was headed by PCSUPT DAVID YALONG OMBAO, DRDA and PSSUPT ANTONIO ANCHETA TAYLAN JR.,RCDS.

Notwithstanding the challenges confronting the Philippine National Police recently with the unfounded allegations thrown to the Chief, PNP, the Officers Men and Women of Police Regional Office 10 stayed united and continuously adhere and support the policies and programs of the Chief, PNP especially his vision of a truly transformed PNP through the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030.

Amidst the controversies, Police Regional Office 10 remains optimistic towards a brighter future, preserving and maintaining peace and order with the enthusiastic and honest cooperation of the public.

Human Rights-Based Policing Seminar

RHRAO-10 conducted 2-day Human Rights-Based Policing Seminar for Forty (40) participants  last May 28-29, 2014 at Multipurpose Hall, Camp Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City aimed at enhancing the competency of police officers region-wide on HR issues and concerns. This training will focus on instilling an approach to community policing that is grounded in sound knowledge of law and procedure, the limits on powers, and respect for the basic rights of individuals.
