Acting RD PRO 10’s Guidance

PCSUPT LYNDEL A DESQUITADO, Acting Regional Director, Police Regional Office 10 delivered his plans and programs during the Command Conference attended by the Provincial and City Directors held last June 8, 2015 at RHQ Multi-purpose Hall, Camp Alagar, Lapasan, CDO.

PCSUPT DESQUITADO reiterates his guidance on: Supervision and monitoring of adopted practices, and timely submission of significant accomplishments of the projects; Readiness to any possible and unfavorable consequences on the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) issues; Review on Command Memorandum Circular 05-2014 “Intensification of Internal Security Operations (ISO) and compliance on said directive; Intensification of illegal drug operations; Referral of the request on Police Security Detail to Police Security Protection Group (PSPG); Police Preference of Crime Prevention activities by all police units as compared to Reactive Police Actions; Police units to enhance the implementation of OPLAN 04/2015 “Bantay Komunidad”/Lambat Sibat; City Police Offices/Municipal Police Offices establish a working Local Anti-Crime Action Plan (LACAP) duly approved by the Local Government Unit; Adoption on the Holistic PNP approach in Crime Prevention and Anti-Criminality efforts; Encourage the conduct of Simulation Exercises/Drills to enhance operational readiness; and direct PPOs/CPOs to invite the Field Officers of all National Operating Support Units in their area during Command Conference.

SILG Mar Roxas turns-over 20 Police Jeeps to Bukidnon

20 Patrol jeeps were distributed in Bukidnon last June 10, 2015 by the SILG Mar Roxas. He quoted " This is important for patrols and responding properly during evacuations. You deserve this, the best of what the government can offer, all that we can do. Hindi Pwede kulang-kulang, patsamba-tsamba, Buhay ang nakataya dito." The procurement and distribution of patrol jeeps is part of the overall strategy to reduce crime not only in PRO 10, but in the whole country. SILG has implemented Oplan Lambat-Sibat, an intisified anti-crime campaign that employs a deliberate, programmatic and sustained approach.

Human Rights-Based Policing Seminar for June CY 2015

To better respond to the challenge of police service and advancement in the promotion and protection of human rights, the Human Rights Affairs Office (HRAO) successfully conducted a two-days Human Rights-Based Policing Seminar to Forty (40) participants last June 25-26, 2015 held at Iligan City Police Office, Camp Tomas L Cabili, Tipanoy, Iligan City City. The training aimed to enhance the competency of PNP personnel in PRO 10 on matters relating to HR issues and concerns and is expected to respond positively in our community. This is in response to the project under the PNP Human Rights Development Program with the interminable support and cooperation from Human Rights Affairs Office, Camp Crame, Quezon City.

Simultaneous PRO and PPOs/CPOs -DIMTG Disaster Preparedness Audit

PNP personnel from Police Regional Office 10 and NSUs led by PSSUPT GERARDO MANUBAY ROSALES, OIC RCDS/Chief, ROPD and Deputy Incident Commander of PRO 10-DIMTG under the supervision of PCSUPT LYDEL ALPUERTO DESQUITADO, OIC, PRO 10 conducted a  simultaneous Disaster  Preparedness Audit to the task groups and sub task groups of said DIMTG on 280630H May 2015.

Said activity started with a short program followed by the audit of all available SAR equipment and vehicles of PRO 10 by PSSUPT GERARDO MANUBAY ROSALES, RLRDD personnel and PSSUPT EDGAR MENCION DANIEL JR., Chief, RPCRD.
