Police Regional Office 10 Welcomes the New Regional Director

PCSUPT JOSE LLESIS GENTILES, former Deputy Director of Directorate of Intelligence based in National Headquarters, Camp Crame, assumed his post as the Officer-in-Charge of Police Regional Office 10 during the Change of Command Ceremony held at Regional Headquarters Grandstand, Camp Alagar on April 18, 2016 at 9:00 in the morning.

Conduct of Physical Agility Test to PO1 Applicants

PRO 10 Recruitment Section personnel with the representatives from National Police Commission 10 and Regional Health Service 10 conducted the physical agility test to all PO1 applicants on April 11-14, 2016 to determine whether they possess the required coordination, strength and speed of movement necessary in the police service.

Out of 1,002 applicants who took the pat, 810 successfully hurdled the test.

Peace Caravan and Covenant Signing

Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office in coordination with the Office of the Provincial Commission on Election hosted the Peace Caravan and Covenant Signing for all candidates running for May 2016 election, today (April 7, 2016) at 9:30 o’clock in the morning at PHQ, San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental as part of Secure and Fair Election (SAFE) 2016.

Police Ready for Holy Week

Police Regional Office 10 spokesperson Superintendent Surki Sereñas revealed today that the full complement of PNP Northern Mindanao is already laid out all over the region as the security preparations for the holy week reached full swing.

Police Regional Director Police Chief Superintendent Lyndel Desquitado, Sereñas said, has ordered the deployment of more policemen in terminals, airports, seaports, highways, malls, resorts, churches and other holiday convergence areas to beef up police presence and ensure the tranquil observance of lent. "Although the command has not monitored serious threat, the police regional command still continue to undertake preemptive measures against terrorist attack and other criminalities" Sereñas said. "The assumption is always on denying these unscrupulous individuals the opportunity to disrupt the peace and order of our region" he added. "The PNP continue to implement checkpoints, conduct law enforcement functions, encourage the participation of force multipliers and volunteers and intensify the use of BINs to augment the local police in their respective areas of responsibilities.  In fact, PRO10 employs over 1,800 PNP personnel and force multipliers region-wide in its daily conduct of checkpoint" the regional spokesperson said.
