PCSUPT TIMOTEO GASCON PACLEB, Regional Director, PRO 10 in line with C, PNPs programs improvement of our police operations and decrease of criminality had directed all Provincial and City Directors to intensify the conduct of police operations against all forms of criminalities. With this, PRO 10 was able to conduct 1,180 operations and 1,556 arrested persons for the period covered from January 1 to March 31, 2018.
On the campaign against Illegal Drugs, there were 452 operations conducted that resulted to the arrest of 534 persons and confiscated an illegal drugs with a total of 629.66 grams of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (shabu) and 3,696.18 grams of dried marijuana leaves with an estimated street value of P3,387.897.00 in the entire region. Appropriate cases were filed against the arrested persons. Meanwhile, 6,571 households were re-visited by our police stations with 504 self-confessed drug users and 107 drug pushers have voluntarily surrendered.
On the campaign against Illegal Gambling, there were 299 operations/raids conducted that resulted to the arrest of 560 persons with a total of P738,037.75 bet money confiscated and 321 cases filed in court for the period covered.
On the campaign against Loose Firearms, there were 93 operations conducted that includes the implementation of Search Warrant, checkpoint and police patrol that successfully arrested 98 persons and recovered or confiscated 53 light weapon (long firearms) and 87 small weapon (small firearms) from the suspects. Appropriate cases were filed against the arrested persons.
On the campaign against Wanted Person, there were 274 operations conducted that resulted to the arrest of 20 most wanted persons and 254 other wanted persons arrested.
On the campaign against Carnapping, there were 38 recovered motorcycles and two motor vehicles that resulted to the arrest of 37 persons. Appropriate cases were filed against the arrested persons.
On the campaign against illegal logging there were 15 operations conducted that resulted to the arrest of 22 persons. There were three cases filed in court and 18 cases referred to DENR to appropriate actions.
On the campaign against illegal fishing there were nine operations conducted that resulted to the arrest of 31 persons. There were four cases filed in court and five cases referred to other Law Enforcement Agencies for appropriate actions.
PCSUPT TIMOTEO G PACLEB, commended the operating personnel for a job well done and directed all Provincial / City Police Offices to continuously conduct an efficient campaign and advocacy by implementing a wide-ranging pro-active approach/strategy on the campaign against all forms of criminality in coordination with various law enforcement and other concerned government agencies.###
