Meanwhile, NorMin police regional director PCSupt Noel Constantino earlier ordered the immediate recall of police officers detailed as security escorts to the narco politicians in Duterte's list and cancelled their deputation authority over the PNP pursuant to National Police Commission Memorandum Circular No.99-010 and Sec. 65 of Republic Act 8551. "This means they no longer have operational and administrative control and supervision over the PNP in their respective areas. Likewise, the security escorts provided to them by the PNP HAVE BEEN recalled and DIRECTED to report back to THE REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS WHERE THEY WILL BE REASSIGNED TO OTHER UNITS IN THE REGION," Constantino said. "For now, they can employ the services of LICENSED protective agents FROM ACCREDITED SECURITY SERVICE SERVICE PROVIDERS AS approved by the CHIEF, PNP."
"This is a STERN BUT fair warning to those in the list but WHO MAY refuse to comply with the order to surrender their firearms. They face possible arrest for illegal possession of firearms," NorMin police chief PCSupt Noel Constantino added.
