In line with the directive of President Rodrigo Duterte and PNP Chief PDG Ronald M Dela Rosa under “Operation High Roller” of PNP Anti-Illegal Gambling Campaign Plan, Police Regional Office 10 stepped up its anti-illegal gambling operations in the entire region. One of the directives from the National Headquarters is for police units to engage in the one time-big time operation on illegal gambling.

On December 5, 2017 at around 3:00 P.M., (1) Marlon Talisik, (2) Rodolfo Talisik Jr. and (3) Bebert Damasco Jr. who were members of New People’s Army under SECOM 89 not listed in the Periodic Status Report (PSR) appeared and surrendered at the Regional Intelligence Division, Police Regional Office 10 which was facilitated by Datu Jerry Magaling and escorted by security forces from Public Safety Mobile Forces Company, Bukidnon led by PSINSP NOEL F CANO. All three were from Brgy. Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon belonging to Higa-onon tribe in Bukidnon.
